Are Services at Chabad for me? 
Of course! Our Services are set up in a style that everyone regardless of background or affiliation, be it reform, conservative, orthodox or unaffiliated, should feel welcome to participate and enjoy the High Holiday Services in an environment that is warm, friendly and non-judgmental. Chabad is a place where everybody fits in!

What makes our Service Different? 
Our services are inspirational, educational and easy to follow. Everything is explained in English and customized to fit your needs and give you the best experience possible. Our services are not too long and not too short. Just enough to do the whole thing and not get frustrated. Many of the prayers are to keep you interested. Our goal is for you come out of the

Do I need to become a member to join the Services? 
No! There is no requirement to become a member to join our services

What if I can't pay? 
Our Services are completely Free and there is no need to pay membership. Our services are open to all regardless of affiliation or background. It's stress free and lots of fun. We thank all our generous sponsors for enabling us to offer free services.

What about my kids? 
Children are welcome. They will enjoy their own prayer book for children, games, snacks and more.

Do I need to bring a head covering, talit or prayer book? 
No! We will provide all our congregants with all the provisions necessary. If you would like to bring your own head covering or Talit you may feel free to do so.

Are we having holiday meals with the community?
Of course all are invited to join us after services! the first evening we are having a buffet featuring the a dish with each of the symbolic foods of Rosh Hashana.  The second evening is a dessert reception, at which there will be new fruit to make the shechiyanu blessing on Rosh Hashana.  Both afternoons there will be a full hot buffet kiddush - all are welcome!
 
Do I have to reserve?
of course we would like to know if you are coming, you can drop us a quick email here.  But feel free to join any or all services even without prior reservations.  We look forward to seeing you during the High Holidays! 

Tashlich? 
Yes. There is a Jewish Custom to go to a body of water and cast your sins there. We will meet on the corner or Blvd LaSalle and 90th ave at 5:30. Bring the children they will enjoy a special treat. We will also blow the shofar for those that didn’t hear earlier.

What if I am not well enough to make it? 
Do you know someone in LaSalle who is not well enough to make it to Synagogue on Rosh Hashana. Please drop us a line. We do house calls. We will try to make it over there to blow shofar for them.
